11th St Station Improvements

Overview

11th St Station is located at the intersection of 11th and Market streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This underground station is part of the L, which was constructed in the late 1900s. Some minor renovations and improvements have been made over the life of the station. This project will make this L station fully accessible.

The typical duration for similar projects is approximately 35 months. Bypassing the station for 12 continuous months is expected to reduce the project duration by at least 10 months and save up to $3 million.
