Museum of the American Revolution
The Museum of the American Revolution marks the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War and the U.S. Armed Forces with the exhibit Banners of Liberty: Exhibition of Original Revolutionary War Flags. Check it out now thru Sunday, 8/10. Hop the L to 2nd St or Bus Routes 17, 21, 25, 33, or 42.
Ardmore
Downtown Ardmore will be alive with food, live music, and fun activities for the whole family for its annual Ardmore Spring Fest on Saturday, 5/3 from 2PM to 6PM. Hop the Paoli/Thorndale Line to Ardmore or Routes 44, 103, or 106.
Check out the Fairmount Farmers Market on Thursdays at 22nd & Fairmount! Routes 7, 32, 33, and 48 will get you there!
Catch 360 ALLSTARS at Penn Live Arts on Sunday, 5/4! Hop the T to 36th St Station, the L to 34th St Station or Bus Routes 21, 30, 42, or 49. You can also take Regional Rail to William H. Gray III 30th Street Station or Penn Medicine Station.
Chestnut Hill
On the First Friday of each month Chestnut Hill features live music, restaurant specials, gallery previews, and extended retail hours. Hop Chestnut Hill West Line to Chestnut Hill West Station or Chestnut Hill East Line to Gravers Station for a quick walk there or Route 23!
Cherry Street Pier
Visit Cherry Street Pier on the first Friday of each month for exhibition openings, artist studio tours, markets, and stunning views of the Delaware River. Take the L to 2nd St or hop Routes 5, 12, 17, 21, 25, 42, or 44.
Walnut Street Theatre
Catch Dreamgirls at Walnut Street Theatre now thru Sunday, 5/4! Take Regional Rail to Jefferson Station or Bus Routes 9, 12, 21, 38, 42, 47, 47M, or 61.
Eraserhood
On Friday, 5/4 the inaugural Eraserhood Fest will kick off during Philly’s First Friday, bringing together locals and visitors for an immersive celebration of the history,culture, and community of one of Philadelphia’s most iconic neighborhoods — Eraserhood. It’s a short walk from Race-Vine on the B!
Lansdale
Lansdale First Friday kicks off on Friday, 5/2 with “It’s Raining Cats & Dogs!” Join local non-profits and businesses at the Lansdale Station Apartments courtyard. Hop the Lansdale/Doylestown line to Lansdale Station. Route 96 and 132 also get you there.
Stop by Dilworth Park on Friday, 5/2 and Saturday, 5/3 to shop small businesses and makers. Take the L or T to 15th St, the B to City Hall, Bus Routes 2, 17, 33, 38, 44, 48, 124 or 125 or Regional Rail to Suburban Station.
Rittenhouse Square
The annual Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival highlights the Center City neighborhood’s reputation as a cultural hotspot on Saturday, 5/3. Short walk from Suburban Station, hop the T to 19th St, or ride Routes 2, 9, 12, 17, 21, or 42.
Manayunk Venice Island
Sing Us Home is a three day outdoor music festival – Friday, 5/2 thru thru Sunday, 5/4 – curated by Dave Hause that celebrates the talent and spirit of Philadelphia. Hop the the Manayunk Norristown Line to Manayunk Station or Routes 35, 61, or 27 to get there!
Head to the Wilma Theater now thru Sunday, 5/4 to see Archduke. It’s a short walk from Walnut-Locust Station on the B.
One of the biggest farmer’s markets in Montgomery County is open on Saturday from 10AM to 12PM at Bryn Mawr Station! Hop the Paoli/Thorndale Line or Route 44 there.
