Extra Service for Dave Chappelle & The Roots on Friday, Ed Sheeran on Saturday

SEPTA is adding service to accommodate fans heading down to the Sports Complex on Friday and Saturday for shows featuring Dave Chappelle with The Roots, and Ed Sheeran. SEPTA also has convenient options for getting to-and-from The Roots Picnic on Saturday and Sunday.

Dave Chappelle with The Roots, Wells Fargo Center – Friday, June 2, 7:30 pm

SEPTA will add three Local trips on the Broad Street Line before the show to supplement regular service. The extra trips will depart Fern Rock Station at 6:08 pm, 6:18 pm, and 6:28 pm

Saturday, June 3 – Ed Sheeran with Khalid and Dylan, 6 pm, Lincoln Financial Field

SEPTA will run eight extra Local trips on the Broad Street Line, departing from Olney Transportation Center Starting at 3:43 pm

Roots Picnic, The Mann Center for Performing Arts, Saturday and Sunday, 1 pm

For riders traveling to The Roots Picnic at The Mann in Fairmount Park on Saturday and Sunday, SEPTA Bus Routes 38, 40 and 43 stop within a short walk of the venue. The Route 15 also stops at 45th & Girard.

Purchase Fares Ahead of Time

SEPTA riders are encouraged to load funds on a SEPTA Key Card before the concert. Customers can also use SEPTA Key Tix. SEPTA Key Tix is available within the SEPTA app for trips on buses, trolleys, the Broad Street Line, Market-Frankford Line, and Norristown High Speed Line.

Customers can use a credit card to download a QR-code ticket that can be read at fareboxes and turnstiles. Please note that SEPTA Key Tix is not available for Regional Rail. Customers using the Broad Street and Market-Frankford lines can purchase Quick Trips from station Kiosks. Quick Trips are valid all day. SEPTA urges riders to buy their return Quick Trip before the show to speed up their trips after the concert. For Regional Train tickets, customers can load their SEPTA Key Card or buy tickets at station kiosks, sales ticket offices, or on board the train using cash or a credit or debit card. Information and Travel Planning Riders can download the Transit Watch app, which allows them to share safety and security tips discreetly and receive alerts.

SEPTA proporcionará servicio adicional para acomodar a los fans que vayan al complejo deportivo del sur de Filadelfia para asistir a los conciertos de este fin de semana. SEPTA también tiene opciones convenientes para ir a The Roots Picnic el sábado y domingo.

Para los pasajeros que vayan al picnic de The Roots en el The Mann en Fairmount Park, las rutas de autobús 38, 40 y 43 de SEPTA paran a una corta distancia. La Ruta 15 para en la calle 45th con Girard.

Tarifas

Para acelerar sus viajes, se recomienda a los pasajeros cargar fondos en su Tarjeta SEPTA Key antes del concierto.

A través de la aplicación de SEPTA para teléfonos inteligentes, está disponible la opción de tiques SEPTA Key Tix. Estos tiques en formato código QR son válidos para viajar en autobuses, tranvías, metros y la Línea Rápida de Norristown. Tras el pago, se descargará el tique que es leíble por las pantallas de validación de tarifas localizadas en los torniquetes del metro y junto al conductor del autobús. Tenga en cuenta que estaopción aún no está disponible en el Tren Regional.La opción de pases SEPTA Key Tix brinda a grupos de hasta cinco personas que viajan juntas la opción de validar hasta cinco tiques a la vez utilizando un solo código QR.

En las máquinas de las estaciones de metro se pueden comprar los tiques Viaje Rápido, válidos solo en las líneas de metro. Estos tiques se pueden usar durante todo el día, por eso SEPTA insta a los pasajeros a comprar su Viaje Rápido de regreso antes del espectáculo para acelerar sus viajes después del concierto.

Para viajar en el Tren Regional, se aconseja recargar sus tarjetas SEPTA Key con antelación. También, se pueden comprar tiques en las máquinas de las estaciones, en las taquillas de ventas o a bordo del tren utilizando dinero en metálico o tarjeta de crédito o débito.
