Disability Pride Philly Bus Detours, June 13

Disability Pride Philly is an annual celebration that honors the disability community. It’s centered on visibility, inclusion and belonging and is held along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This year, the event features a parade, live DJ, food trucks, resource tables and accessible, family‑friendly activities that bring together disabled people, allies and community organizations.

Getting to Disability Pride

If you’re headed to Disability Pride, SEPTA is a great way to ensure you arrive on time. The Parkway is within walking distance of Market Street; nearby stations include 15th Street Station on the L, Race-Vine Station on the B or 19th St Station on the T. Those traveling on SEPTA Regional Rail will want to exit at Suburban Station, which is just a short distance from the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

If you’re taking PATCO into Philadelphia from New Jersey, riders can take the L to travel to Philly Pride. Exit PATCO at 8th-Market Station. Take the escalator or stairs to concourse level and exit PATCO’s fare gates. Follow the blue signs approximately one block through the concourse to the L.
