SEPTA’s Trolley Modernization Program is transforming the trolley network into a more accessible, fast and easy-to-use system. The is the first trolley route to be modernized. SEPTA is committed to communicating with and supporting businesses every step of the way during construction for Trolley Modernization.
During Trolley Modernization construction, SEPTA will be coordinating with business organizations, conducting business outreach meetings, providing advance notice of work and on-going construction updates and installing wayfinding and access information.
There are many business support programs available through the City of Philadelphia, PIDC, Philadelphia Bid Alliance and community development corporations (CDCs). If you are looking for additional financing, there are programs available through the Merchant’s Fund and local community development financial institutions (CDFIs).
