The Sugar Cane Festival is a family‑friendly cultural celebration hosted by Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha (APM) that honors Puerto Rican heritage through live music and dance performances, food, crafts and community activities. The festival takes place yearly and highlights the cultural significance of sugar cane while bringing together residents and visitors.
Getting to the Festival

If you’re taking PATCO into Philadelphia from New Jersey, riders can take the to travel to the Sugar Cane Festival. Exit PATCO at 12th/13th & Locust Street Station. Take the escalator or stairs to concourse level, exit PATCO’s fare gates and follow signs to exit to street level. Head north on S 13th Street toward St. James Street, then left onto Walnut Street. SEPTA’s Walnut-Locust Station is on the corner of Broad & Walnut streets.
