The Mann Loop is a special bus route that SEPTA operates on select days during June through September to provide transit to events at the Highmark Mann Center for the Performing Arts. The Mann Center is a nonprofit performing arts center located in West Fairmount Park and was originally built in 1976 to serve as the summer home for the Philadelphia Orchestra. Since then, it’s become a popular entertainment venue for a variety of artists and a beloved destination for Philadelphians – and that’s exactly why SEPTA provides a dedicated Mann Loop bus route. It picks up passengers at seven different stops in Center City and brings them right to the Mann Center.
Service & Schedules
The Mann Loop will operate on one of three potential schedules, depending on the timing of that day’s event. The Blue Schedule for events beginning between 6:30 pm and 6:45 pm; the Pink Schedule for events beginning at 7 pm; and the Green Schedule for events beginning between 7:30 pm and 8 pm. The stops remain the same on all schedules; only the timing is different.
Note that the Mann Loop does not run for every show that takes place at the Mann Center, only for those events where SEPTA has determined that additional service is needed.
The Mann Loop makes a return trip to Center City after each select performance. Please note there is no set departure time — riders wishing to travel back to Center City should return to the bus stop promptly at the conclusion of the performance.
