Subway Station Cleaning Continues This Weekend

Following several successful station cleaning and maintenance blitzes last year SEPTA is continuing the initiative through the summer on the Broad Street (BSL) and Market-Frankford Lines (MFL).

This weekend’s station cleaning will be at Huntingdon Station (MFL) July 29, 30, 31. The station will close at 8 pm. On Friday and reopen Monday morning at 5 am Efforts will focus on cleaning, as well as painting and power washing.

After Huntingdon, the next scheduled station cleaning is August 5, 6, 7 at Wyoming Station (BSL).

During the closures, customers can find alternate service at neighboring stations on the Broad Street and Market-Frankford Lines, or on nearby bus routes.

Limpieza intensiva de estaciones de metro continúa este fin de semana en la Estación Huntingdon

Tras varias exitosas campañas de limpieza intensiva y mantenimiento en estaciones de metro el año pasado, SEPTA ha retomado la iniciativa a partir de mayo y hasta septiembre en las líneas Azul y Naranja de metro (Líneas Broad Street y Market-Frankford).

La campaña de limpieza de esta semana es en la Estación Huntingdon de la Línea Azul. Durante la campaña, la estación cerrará a las 8 p.m. del viernes y abrirá a las 5 a.m. del lunes. Los esfuerzos se centrarán en la limpieza, pintura y lavado con agua a presión.

Después de Huntingdon, la próxima limpieza programada es el 5, 6 y 7 de agosto en la Estación Wyoming (Línea Naranja).

Durante los cierres, los pasajeros pueden encontrar servicio alternativo en las estaciones vecinas, o en rutas de autobús cercanas.
