SEPTA is reminding music fans attending this weekend’s Made In America concert that public transit is the easiest way to get to and from the venue on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
The best resources for travel to-and-from the concert are SEPTA’s subways – the Broad Street Line and the Market-Frankford Line. These lines are easily accessible for riders throughout the region, with stops located just a short walking distance from the concert site. Service on the Broad Street and Market-Frankford Lines will operate on regular Saturday/Sunday schedules, with extra trains added for the festival.
SEPTA will also provide concert-goers with extra trips on its City Trolley routes 11, 13, 34 and 36. The Center City trolley tunnel, which normally closes on Sunday evenings, will remain open to accommodate passengers. The Route 10, which has been using shuttle bus substitution due to a track renewal project, will return to regular trolley service on Sunday.
Regional Rail trains will run on regular weekend schedules, with most lines operating hourly. On Saturday, one additional train will be added to the Media/Elwyn, Lansdale/Doylestown, Trenton and West Trenton Lines – all scheduled to depart Suburban Station at 12:45 am On Sunday, one additional train will be added to the Media/Elwyn, Lansdale/Doylestown and Paoli/Thorndale Lines, leaving Suburban Station at 11:45 pm
Due to road closures on and around the Parkway, detours will be in effect for bus routes 7, 32, 33, 38, 43 and 48 from 5 am on Friday, August 30 through 12 pm. On Monday, September 2.

Trains will operate on Saturday/Sunday schedules, with extra trains added for the festival.
Trolleys
Route 10, 11, 13, 34, and 36 service will operate on Saturday/Sunday schedules, with extra cars added during the festival (please note buses will substitute trolley service on the Route 10 on Saturday and trolleys will return to the line on Sunday). The Center City Tunnel will be open for trolley service on Sunday evening.
Bus Detours
Due to road closures, Bus Routes 7, 32, 33, 38, 43 and 48 will be re-routed around the Parkway. Detour updates will be available through the System Status feature on SEPTA’s website, https://www.septa.org/realtime/status/system-status.shtml.

Customer Service Extended Hours & Additional Sales Locations
