Thanks to a partnership with NJM Insurance Group, SEPTA will provide fans free rides home from NRG Station on the Broad Street Line for Sunday’s Eagles-Colts game. The Broad Street Line serves Lincoln Financial Field and other venues at the Sports and Entertainment Complex in South Philadelphia.
The free rides from NRG Station will begin at 3 pm and end at 7 pm. The free-ride-home program is aimed at offering a safe and convenient post-game travel option for fans. Kickoff at the Linc is 1 pm. Please note: Regular fares will apply for all Broad Street Line travel to the game.
NJM is a leading auto insurer and teen driver safety advocate in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The Company’s award-winning Teen Driver Safety Program has reached more than 125,000 students over the last five years and covers topics like distracted, fatigued and impaired driving. As part of the Company’s expansion into Pennsylvania earlier this year, the Program will soon be available at no-cost to high schools in the Commonwealth.
“For more than 100 years, NJM has encouraged and promoted safety in the workplaces where our customers make a living, and on the roadways that lead them back home,” said Tracy McManimon, NJM Senior Vice President. “We know how passionate Philadelphians are about their World Champion Eagles, and we’re thrilled to partner with SEPTA on this public service to help keep fans safe. As we become a bigger part of the communities we serve throughout Pennsylvania, we look forward to more opportunities to bring our century-long commitment to safety to the hard-working people of this great city.”
SEPTA will provide extra game-day service, with a total of 10 Sports Express trains added to supplement regularly scheduled Local and Express trains on the Broad Street Line. Sports Express service will run every 10 minutes from Fern Rock Station from 10:10 am until 12:20 pm
The Broad Street Line provides convenient service to Eagles games and other big events for riders throughout the region.
