SEPTA Station Cleaning Blitz Continues This Weekend

Following several successful station cleaning and maintenance blitzes over the last two years, SEPTA is continuing the initiative through October on the Broad Street (BSL) and Market-Frankford Lines (MFL).

This weekend’s (Sept. 8-10) comprehensive cleaning will be at Logan Station on the Broad Street Line. As with each cleaning, stations will close at 8 p.m. on Friday and reopen Monday morning at 5 a.m. Efforts will focus on heavy cleaning, maintenance, as well as painting, and any additional repairs where needed.

The blitz will continue with 46th Street Station on September 22, 23, 24 and 34th Street Station on October 6, 7, 8–both along the Market-Frankford Line.

SEPTA has been doing these station blitzes on the Market-Frankford and Broad Street Lines over the last several months. In addition to Logan Station this weekend, crews have been dispatched to Snyder and Hunting Park on the BSL and Allegheny, Tioga, 11th Street, and Somerset on the Market-Frankford Line.

Limpieza intensiva de estaciones de metro continúa este fin de semana: Estación Logan

Tras varias exitosas campañas de limpieza intensiva y mantenimiento durante los últimos dos años en algunas estaciones de metro de las líneas Azul y Naranja, SEPTA ha retomado la iniciativa este año.

Las campañas se realizan de mayo a octubre continuando con la Estación Logan de la Línea Naranja este fin de semana, del 8 al 3 de septiembre. Durante la campaña de limpieza, la estación permanecerá cerrada desde las 8 p.m. del viernes hasta las 5 a.m. del lunes. Los equipos se centrarán en la limpieza profunda, mantenimiento, pintura, lavado con agua a presión y reparaciones adicionales donde sea necesario.

A continuación se muestran las estaciones y fechas para el resto de las campañas de limpieza: 

  • Estación 46th St (Línea Azul) 22, 23 y 24 de septiembre
  • Estación 34th St (Línea Azul) 6, 7 y 8 de octubre

En semanas anteriores las campañas de limpieza intensiva fueron realizadas en las estaciones Snyder y Hunting Park en la Línea Naranja y en Allegheny, Tioga, 11th St y Somerset, en la Línea Azul.
