At home, at work, on a crowded train platform, or at a bus stop – you never know when or where a medical emergency needing CPR might happen. To help members of the public interested in learning life-saving CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) skills, SEPTA’s System Safety Division is partnering with The Mobile CPR Project at the University of Pennsylvania to provide hands-only CPR and AED instruction at 69th Street Transportation Center.

Details
The Mobile CPR Project is part of a collective effort to break down barriers, such as cost, time and location, to provide access to CPR education in Philadelphia. This project travels to groups and teaches hands-only CPR and AED use free of charge. The Mobile CPR Project teaches participants how to recognize cardiac arrest, how to perform proper compressions and what steps you should take as a bystander.
The training sessions at 69th Street Transportation Center are open to the general public.
