Ride of Silence 2026, May 20

Ride of Silence 2026 will take place this Wednesday on May 20. The event is an 8-mile-long bike ride whose purpose is to honor the memories of those killed or injured by vehicles while cycling while also raising awareness about the legal rights of cyclists to ride in the roads. The event was created by the Bicycle Coalition of Philadelphia, a nonprofit dedicated to making our streets safe and accessible.

There will be a ceremony at 6:45 pm, followed by the bike ride itself, which will last until 8 pm. Helmets are required.

Getting to the Bike Ride

If you’re headed to the Ride of Silence, SEPTA is a great way to ensure you arrive on time.
