Pepsi MAX Sponsors Free Trips for NHL Winter Classic

No Fares or Transfers Needed For Broad Street Line Trips from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Jan. 2

SEPTA has partnered with Pepsi MAX to provide free rides on the Broad Street Line for the upcoming NHL Winter Classic.

From 11 am to 6 pm. On game day – Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 – free rides will available on the Broad Street Line. This includes no charges for regular fares or transfers. The seven-hour free-ride window provides plenty of time for travel to and from the ballpark, where the Flyers and Rangers face-off at 1 pm

To accommodate fans, SEPTA will supplement regularly scheduled service with eight extra Sports Express trips on the Broad Street Line. Sports Express trips will run every 10 minutes starting at approximately 11:30 am

The Broad Street Line offers convenient access to Citizens Bank Park and other Sports Complex venues via AT&T Station. Broad Street Line trains are also easily accessible from a variety of SEPTA travel modes and other transit services (Please note: Regular rates apply to all other transit services during the Pepsi MAX free ride event).
Services that connect with the Broad Street Line include:

The Market-Frankford Line: Transfer to the Broad Street Line at 15th Street/City Hall.

Regional Rail: Riders on all lines can depart at Market East or Suburban stations for easy access to the Broad Street Line at City Hall.

Trolley: Transfers to City Hall available via routes 10, 11, 13, 34 and 36.

Bus: A number of routes provide connections to a number of different stations along the Broad Street Line. Riders can find connecting bus service by using trip planning tools available at https://www.septa.org/ or by calling customer service representatives at (215) 580-7800.

Fans from South Jersey can catch a ride by taking the PACTO High Speed Line to 12th/13th and Locust – just follow the signs in the concourse to the Broad Street Line.
