The beloved street festival is back for its 16th year and will offer delicious food, local businesses, and neighborhood culture for attendees to enjoy. The event spans several blocks and features vendors of food, drinks, retail goods and handmade items, along with live music and other activities, including a special area for kids.
Getting to the Festival
The event takes place along Passyunk Ave, spanning five blocks from Broad to Dickinson Sts. One convenient option, which will get you within walking distance of the west side of the festival, is Synder Station on the [B]. There is a free transfer to the [B] Broad Street Line from the [L] Market-Frankford Line and Trolley routes at 15th Street/City Hall – and it is a short walk from Regional Rail stations in Center City.
If you’re taking PATCO into Philadelphia from New Jersey, riders can take the [B] Broad Street Line to travel to the festival. Exit PATCO at 12th/13th & Locust Street Station. Take the escalator or stairs to concourse level, exit PATCO’s fare gates and follow signs to exit to street level. Head north on S 13th Street toward St. James Street, then left onto Walnut Street. SEPTA’s Walnut-Locust Station is on the corner of Broad & Walnut streets.
Road Closures
To facilitate the event, multiple streets will be blocked off to traffic, which will impact SEPTA’s bus service until 8 pm. The full list of affected routes is below; for specific details on the detours, please visit SEPTA’s Alerts and Detours page.
