Overview
SEPTA’s trolleys are over forty years old and reaching the end of their useful life. To replace them SEPTA is purchasing a brand-new fleet of trolleys that are accessible to people with disabilities, carry more passengers, and allow for faster service.

Features
SEPTA is working with vehicle manufacturer Alstom to design and build new trolleys that will make the system accessible to riders with mobility challenges for the first time. These new trolleys are being designed to meet the challenges of Greater Philadelphia’s over-100-year-old trolley system, while providing state-of-the-art features for our riders.
