Overview
SEPTA is constructing a maintenance track connection between the 
lines and 
lines. This connection will enable SEPTA to perform heavy maintenance on both its city (-line) and suburban (-line) trolley fleets at a new maintenance facility located at 5100 Grays Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.
Consolidating these operations at a single facility will help SEPTA keep its new trolley fleet in good working condition, and centralize specialty heavy-maintenance equipment in one location.

Features
Once complete, the City-Suburban Track Connector will feature:
- New, maintenance-only trolley tracks connecting the end of the
, at Sharon Hill Station to the 
, at the intersection of 9th and Main Streets, in Darby Borough along Chester Pike. - New overhead wire to power trolley vehicles.
