Bus Service to Replace Trains Between Wilmington Station and Claymont Transit Center, Apr. 11-12 

Service Advisory Wilmington/Newark Line

Amtrak track work north of Wilmington Station on the Wilmington/Newark Line requires shuttle bus substitution on Saturday & Sunday, April 11 – 12.

DART shuttle bus service operates between Wilmington Station and Claymont Transit Center only. Inbound (towards Center City) Bus Service

Shuttle buses depart Wilmington Station 17 minutes earlier than regularly scheduled train times. Trains depart 5 minutes after bus arrival at Claymont Transit Center. Passengers should add approximately 20 minutes to their travel time.

Note: Train 2740 operates 17 minutes later than normal schedule time from Claymont Transit Center to Chestnut Hill East Station to connect with the last northbound shuttle bus from Wilmington Station. Refer to this Chestnut Hill East Line PDF schedule for specific train times.

Outbound (towards Newark) Bus Service

Trains depart Marcus Hook Station and arrive at Claymont Transit Center 2 minutes later than regularly scheduled times. The connecting shuttle bus departs 5 minutes after train arrival at Claymont Transit Center to Wilmington Station. Passengers should add approximately 20 to 25 minutes to their travel time.
