Unibet to Sponsor Free Rides Home on SEPTA’s Broad Street Line After Eagles-49ers NFC Championship Game

Extra Pre-Game Service Starts at 11:10 a.m.

Unibet, a leading platform for online sports betting, bingo, and poker, will help Eagles fans get home safely after the NFC Championship Game by sponsoring free rides home from NRG Station on the Broad Street Line. NRG Station provides service to venues at the Sports Complex in South Philadelphia, including Lincoln Financial Field.

Free rides from NRG Station will be available on Sunday, Jan. 29, from 5 pm until 9 pm. Kickoff against the San Francisco 49ers at the Linc is at 3 pm. Regular fares apply for all Broad Street Line travel to the game.

SEPTA will accommodate passengers traveling to the game with extra trains on the Broad Street Line. This Sports Express service will run every 10 minutes beginning at 11:10 am, with trips starting at Fern Rock Station and stopping at Olney, Erie, Girard, Spring Garden, Race-Vine, City Hall, and Walnut-Locust Stations before reaching NRG Station. Sports Express supplements regularly scheduled Broad Street Line service.

“SEPTA is thrilled to partner with Unibet to provide free rides home from the NFC Championship Game,” said SEPTA CEO and General Manager Leslie S. Richards. “This is such an exciting time for our city and region, and SEPTA will be ready on Sunday with extra service for fans. We will also have additional personnel on the system to assist riders and to help ensure that their travel is safe, secure, and convenient.”

Game-Day Connections

Eagles fans can connect with the Broad Street Line from dozens of bus routes, and there is a free transfer from the Market-Frankford Line and City Trolley routes at 15th Street/City Hall. The Broad Street Line is also just a short walk from Regional Rail Stations in Center City, and extra Regional Rail service scheduled for the Auto Show this weekend can also accommodate Eagles fans. Additional Regional Rail service will run on the Warminster, West Trenton, Media/Wawa, and Trenton Lines. The Broad Street Line is also easily accessible from the PATCO High Speed Line for fans from South Jersey.

To speed their trips to the game, SEPTA customers are encouraged to load funds on a SEPTA Key Card before their travel. Quick Trip single fare tickets can also be purchased at station kiosks. In addition, riders can now use the new SEPTA Key Tix option to purchase mobile tickets for travel on buses, trolleys, the Broad Street Line, Market Frankford Line and Norristown High Speed Line. SEPTA Key Tix is a mobile ticketing program that allows riders to pay fares for up to five people traveling together by scanning a

single barcode on a smartphone. Please note: SEPTA Key Tix is not yet available for Regional Rail.
