SEPTA can help show goers get closer to spring and experience the delight of the 2020 Philadelphia Flower Show – ‘Riviera Holiday’ – which kicks off Saturday, February 29, and runs through Sunday, March 8 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
SEPTA Perk
As an added value, SEPTA customers can purchase Flower Show tickets at all major SEPTA Transit Sales Offices and Regional Rail Ticket Offices. Adult Any Day Tickets are $43 (reg. box office price $48) and children’s (ages 5-17) discounted tickets are available for $17.
Tap or Swipe to Exit
Customers, with SEPTA Key Cards and legacy Passes must TAP or SWIPE or EXIT at Jefferson and Suburban Stations; large signage and floor decals will identify the turnstiles set for TAP or SWIPE to EXIT. Customers with paper Passes can swipe at any turnstile to exit. TAP or SWIPE to EXIT applies to all Key Cards including Senior Citizens as well as Quick Trips customers traveling into Center City. Riders with paper tickets and cash fare receipts must exit at the turnstiles with a SEPTA Key Ambassador as well as those with Prepaid fares.
Flower Show attendees are encouraged to buy a round trip ticket at the start of their trip or a return ticket at the Jefferson Station Sales Office prior to entering the show. Fares will be collected or inspected at the turnstiles during the following times:
- Monday-Friday (March 2-6) from 6 am to 8 pm
- Saturday, February 29 & March 7 from 9 am to 10 pm
- Sunday, March 1 from 8 am to 9:30 pm
- Sunday, March 8 from 8 am to 7 pm
Cash is not accepted at turnstiles and customers without a return fare must purchase a ticket at the Jefferson Station sales office. At all other times, fares can be purchased from the conductor on board the train?cash only (credit and debit cards are not accepted as payment on the train).

Senior Fares
Pennsylvania riders 65 and older can ride free on any SEPTA mode, including Regional Rail when traveling to and from any SEPTA Regional Rail station. Seniors must have a valid SEPTA Senior Key Card (tapped at turnstiles) or valid Pennsylvania driver’s license/non-drive ID card (swiped at turnstiles).
Paper Pennsylvania Senior Citizen Transit ID Cards and Medicare Cards are no longer accepted.
Seniors from New Jersey and Delaware can ride SEPTA Regional Rail for half-fare if they have a SEPTA Senior Key Card. Regular fares apply for seniors without a Senior Key Card. Quiet Ride
Due to increased Regional Rail ridership during the Flower Show, SEPTA’s Quiet Ride Program will be temporarily suspended as crews will be focused on safety, fare collection and announcements. SEPTA will also add extra personnel on select trains to assist with additional riders.
