T Love

Trolley Operator Gary Mason has been a driving force for brotherly love for over three decades.

Gary was hired in 1986 and started decorating his trolley after being inspired by a co-worker in the early 1990s. He started with Christmas and then added Valentine’s Day and then added Halloween throughout the years.

He has also decorated trolleys for the Philadelphia Flower Show and 4th of July.

Why does he do it? To show love and appreciation for his customers!

When does he do it? Gary decorates in his downtime with the help of his son.

Unfortunately Gary says it’s the last trolley he’ll trim before retiring later this year.

We wish you much luck and lots of LOVE Gary!

Fun fact: The tradition of decorating SEPTA trolleys for the holidays dates back to 1944.
