SEPTA To Hold Public Hearings on Fiscal Year 2015 Annual Service Plan

Proposed Changes Aimed At Improving Customer Service & Enhance Operating Efficiency

SEPTA would like to invite riders and other local residents to public hearings this week on the Fiscal Year 2015 Annual Service Plan. This proposal includes changes to certain bus routes, designed to enhance customer service and improve the efficiency of operations.

The proposal includes minor changes to bus routes 35, 43, 91, 116, 201, 205 and 206. It also recommends replacing Route 116, which currently provides limited weekday service between 69th Street Transportation Center and the USPS facility at 74th and Lindbergh Boulevard, by extending and restructuring routes 68 and 108.

The full proposal is posted at https://www.septa.org/reports/pdf/asp15-proposed.pdf on SEPTA’s website. Copies are also available at SEPTA’s Customer Service Office in the Lobby of SEPTA Headquarters at 1234 Market Street.

An independent hearing examiner will review public testimony and make a recommendation on the proposal before it is presented to the SEPTA Board for a possible vote at its May meeting. If approved, the service changes would be implemented starting this fall.

  • Tuesday, April 22: Noon and 5 pm – Board Room at SEPTA Headquarters; Mezzanine Level, 1234 Market Street, Philadelphia.
