SEPTA App Update

ICYMI We updated the SEPTA app. Everyone should now be on 3.2.10.

The rollout is in-process on iOS and Android. If you don’t see it yet — it should show up soon. It will auto-update if you have auto-updates set. Or you can go to the App Store or Google Play store to download the new version.

Content of 3.2.10 update:

Farewell to Key Tix: SEPTA retired the Key Tix mobile ticketing platform due to a significant decrease in demand following the system-wide launch of contactless payments in April 2025. With the release of this app update (March 2, 2026) Key Tix sales officially ended. Any previously purchased Key Tix are valid for 180 days from the date of purchase.

Better Regional Rail Trip Planning through Center City: The trip planner now provides clearer instructions for trips through Center City especially in the case of a train continuing as a different line. The app now explicitly tells the user to stay on the train instead of suggesting an unnecessary transfer.

Prioritized Service Alerts: High-priority alerts are now more visible directly on schedule pages. This “fewer clicks” approach helps riders see critical disruptions or system-wide alerts immediately while planning their rides.

Redesigned Schedule Pages: Users can now view schedules for individual B, T, and D services separately rather than being restricted to a combined view. This matches the design of the SEPTA.org schedule pages.

Collapsible Page Headers: Headers now collapse as you scroll on certain pages to improve navigation on mobile devices. This maximizes the screen space available for viewing route details.

Thanks for riding!
