New SEPTA Regional Rail Line Schedules Go Into Effect Sunday, April 5th

New SEPTA Regional Rail Line schedules will go into effect on Sunday, April 5, 2015. Highlights of the new schedule change include:

Chestnut Hill West

Due to a bridge improvement project, many weekday trains will have different arrival/departure times in addition to other minor schedule adjustments to accommodate the work. Customers can learn more about the project on SEPTA’s Rebuilding for the Future website https://www.septa.org/rebuilding/

Fox Chase Line

Saturday outbound trains 810 through 870 will operate five minutes later between Chestnut Hill West and Fox Chase Stations.

Lansdale/Doylestown

Weekday Train #513 has been retimed between Lansdale and Glenside stations, departing Lansdale two minutes earlier and will service Melrose Park Station at 7:47 am

Media/Elwyn Line

Some weekday trains will have earlier departure times.

Weekday Train # 7357 traveling outbound towards Elwyn will be renumbered at Train #9537. Stations times will not change.

Manayunk/Norristown

Inbound Train #6217 traveling towards Center City will now serve Elm Street Station. This train will depart from Elm Street Station at 7:31 am and operate local service through to Miquon Station where it will express to Temple University Station and arrive at its current scheduled time of 8:05 am

Inbound Train #6219 will now originate at Ivy Ridge Station. This train will depart at 7:55 am with service through East Falls Station, arriving at North Broad Station at its current scheduled time of 8:11 am

A new inbound train #6291 will originate from Miquon Station at 8:32 am and will operate local service through to 30th Street Station.

Weekend Train #232, inbound and outbound will operate 10 minutes later.

Paoli/Thorndale:

Arrival times for weekday outbound Train #9547 have been adjusted between Bryn Mawr and Thorndale Stations.

Early morning weekday Train #1502 will now service Ardmore Station, arriving at 4:42 am

Trenton

Weekday Train #9737 will be replaced by Train #5737 and operate three minutes earlier from Temple University Station to Trenton Station.

Inbound weekend Trains #9706 through #9734 will depart from Trenton two minutes earlier.

All outbound weekend trains will arrive in Trenton six minutes later.

Weekend Train #9737 will now depart from Suburban Station at 11:57 pm and arrive in Trenton at 12:52 am

West Trenton

Weekday Inbound Train #323 will operate one minute earlier from West Trenton through Neshaminy Station. This train will no longer service Melrose Park Station. Melrose Park customers should take Train #513 which departs at 7:47 am

Weekday Train #326 will operate two minutes earlier.
