Hot Chocolate Run Bus Detours & Road Closures, April 4

The annual Hot Chocolate Run takes place this weekend on Saturday, April 4. America’s sweetest run is back with 5K, 10K and 15K distances and a post-run party! Runners and participants will experience the ultimate chocolate celebration while enjoying the benefits of aerobic exercise.

Getting to the Hot Chocolate Run

If you’re participating in the Hot Chocolate Run event, SEPTA is a great way to ensure you arrive on time. Bus routes 7, 33, 48 and 49 serve the Philadelphia Museum of Art area. If you’ll be coming in from out of town on Regional Rail, Suburban Station in Center City is the most convenient option. Riders can also utilize plan.septa.org for real-time planning to and from the run.

Road Closures

To facilitate the course for the run, roads will be closed from the Art Museum & Eakins Oval to 22nd Street, which will impact SEPTA’s bus service until 1 pm. The full list of affected routes is below; for specific details on the detours, please visit SEPTA’s Alerts and Detours page.
