PHILADELPHIA (July 8, 2026) – To help welcome baseball fans to Philadelphia, SEPTA is partnering with DraftKings and Pennsylvania Lottery to offer free rides home on the B [Broad Street Line] from NRG Station for the MLB All-Star events next week.
For the Home Run Derby on July 13, free rides sponsored by DraftKings will begin after the second round and end at 11:59 p.m.
For the All-Star Game on July 14, free rides sponsored by Pennsylvania Lottery will begin after the sixth inning and end at 11:59 p.m.
For both events, free rides home apply to the B Line from NRG Station only. Regular fares apply for all other SEPTA services and stations along the B.
“SEPTA is proud to partner with DraftKings and Pennsylvania Lottery to provide free, convenient rides home for fans celebrating baseball’s midseason showcase at Citizens Bank Park,” said SEPTA General Manager Scott A. Sauer. “We successfully moved massive crowds from NRG Station for six FIFA World Cup matches, and we are ready to deliver safe, clean, and reliable service for MLB All-Star Week.”
In addition to regularly scheduled B trains, SEPTA will add six Sports Express trips before and after the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game. All Express service will extend to NRG Station.
Baseball fans can connect with the B from dozens of bus routes, and there is a free transfer from the L [Market-Frankford Line] and T [Trolley] routes at 15th Street/City Hall. The B is a short walk from Regional Rail stations in Center City and is easily accessible from the PATCO High Speed Line for riders from South Jersey.
SEPTA will also provide additional weekend Regional Rail service to support the events leading up to the games, with three extra inbound and outbound trains on the Lansdale/Doylestown and Paoli/Thorndale lines.
SEPTA offers a variety of convenient payment options, including contactless. Customers on all modes – buses, subways, trolleys, and Regional Rail – can easily tap their credit/debit card or mobile wallet at a validator to pay the fares for up to five riders.
SEPTA Ambassadors in blue vests will be on-site at select major stations during the evening hours to assist riders.
