On May 28, 2026, the SEPTA Board approved the FY27 Annual Service Plan (ASP), which includes the implementation of Phase 1, 2 and 3 of the New Bus Network. For complete information on Phase 1 changes that begin this August, visit the New Bus Network page.
Summer Schedule Change Highlights
- As the Philadelphia region gets ready to welcome FIFA World Cup 2026™ fans, bus routes 32 and 48 will provide additional service to FIFA Fan Festival™ at Lemon Hill.
- Route 32 will provide frequent weekday service, every 15 minutes or less, from 6 am – 9 pm.
- The 48 is adding extra service in the evenings and on weekends through the end of summer.
- To prepare for the New Bus Network, changes to the Route 52 will go into effect on June 14, 2026. Trips that served 54th-City will be extended along City Ave to the new Wissahickon Transit Center in both directions. Service on Wynnefield Ave and Cardinal Ave will be discontinued; stops at City Ave & 54st St and Cardinal Ave & City Ave will be eliminated.
