Jenkintown-Wyncote Station Improvements

Jenkintown-Wyncote Station will be rebuilt as part of the Station Accessibility Program, making it accessible to people with disabilities and easier to ride for seniors, small children and their families, and anyone who needs a little more help to get where they are going. Improvements will include high-level platforms, a new pedestrian overpass above the tracks, and covered walkways, which will enhance the experience of taking Regional Rail or transferring from nearby bus routes.

  • Design: Underway
  • Construction: Summer 2025-Winter 2027

  • New, high-level platforms to make boarding SEPTA easier for all patrons
  • New pedestrian overpass, with an elevator, to make accessing either platform easier
