Christmas Village in Philadelphia
The German-style Christmas Village is back at LOVE Park and City Hall thru Christmas Eve! Hop the Market-Frankford Line [L] or Trolley [T] Routes 10, 11, 13, 34 & 36 to 15th Street, the Broad Street Line [B] to City Hall, Bus Routes 2, 17, 33, 38, 44, 48, 124, or 125 or Regional Rail to Suburban Station.
The famous Franklin Institute Heart and the Baldwin 60000 Steam Locomotive exhibits have reopened and are better than ever! Take Bus Routes 7, 33, 38, 48 or Trolley [T] Routes 10, 11, 13, 34, 36 to 19th St or make the short walk from Suburban Station.
The Eagles take on the Panthers on Sunday, 12/8 at Lincoln Financial Field! Hop the Broad Street Line [B] south to NRG Station – last stop. SEPTA will be running extra service!
City Hall
The five-story tree will be lit during a celebration on Thursday, 12/5, at 6PM. Hop the Market-Frankford Line [L] to 15th St, the Broad Street Line [B] to City Hall, Bus Routes 2, 17, 33, 38, 44, 48, 124, or 125, Trolley [T] Routes 10, 11, 13, 34, or 36, or Regional Rail to Suburban Station.
Catch The Nutcracker at Academy of Music Friday, 12/6 thru Sunday, 12/29! Take Regional Rail to Suburban Station, the Broad Street Line [B] to Walnut-Locust, the Market-Frankford Line [L] to 15th St, or Routes 4, 9, 12, 21, 27, 32, or 42!
East Passyunk’s Deck the Ave holiday event features a tree lighting, carolers, live music, special guests, and Santa photo ops at the Singing Fountain on Wednesday, 12/4. Hop the Broad Street Line [B] to Tasker-Morris or Routes 47, 45, or 29.
Head to the Betsy Ross House for the Historic Holidays Tree Lighting this Wednesday, 12/4. Short walk from 2nd Str Station on the Market-Frankford Line [L] or hop Routes 17, 33, or 48.
The Philadelphia 76ers take on the Magic on Wednesday, 12/4 and Friday, 12/6. Hop the Broad Street Line [B] to NRG Station – last stop!
This immersive display transforms the Philadelphia Zoo into a multimedia spectacular with 16 zones illuminated with a million twinkling lights now thru Saturday, 1/4. Get there on Route 15 or 38.
Chestnut Hill shops will be open late on select Wednesdays in December with holiday specials and refreshments. Hop the Chestnut Hill West Line to Chestnut Hill West Station, Chestnut Hill East Line to Chestnut Hill East Station, or Route 23, 77, 94,134, or L!

Manayunk’s Get Lit weekends offer shopping specials, food deals, and entertainment with a free Jolly Trolley on Main Street running Thursday to Saturday until Monday, 12/23. Hop Regional Rail to Manayunk Station or Routes 9, 27, 35, or 61!
Morris Arboretum & Gardens
Catch the Holiday Garden Railway now thru Monday, 12/30! Hop Route L or 97 toward Plymouth Meeting or Plymouth Meeting Mall to the Germantown Avenue & Northwestern Avenue stop. Walk down Northwestern Avenue until you reach the black wrought-iron gate of the Arboretum.
Catching Kevin Hart on Wednesday, 12/4 or Friday, 12/6 at The Met? Take the Broad Street Line [B] to Girard Station (2 blocks south) or Fairmount Station (3 blocks north). You can also take Bus Route 4 or 16 or Route 15 [G].

This MONTCO attraction features millions of LED lights. Catch it now thru Monday, 12/30. Bus Routes 90, 96, and 98 stop within walking distance.
Check out the Electrical Spectacle Light Show presented by PECO [open now thru Sunday, 2/23] and Chilly Philly Mini Golf [open now thru Sunday, 1/26] at Franklin Square! It’s a short walk from 5th St/Independence Hall Station on the Market-Frankford Line [L].
