Located in West Philadelphia the Philadelphia Zoo is home to more than 300 species from around the world across its beautiful 42-acre campus. As America’s first zoo it combines exceptional wildlife experiences with rich history featuring notable architecture and landmarks including the former estate of William Penn’s grandson.

The McNeil Avian Center offers walk-through habitats where guests can observe more than 100 bird species from around the world in naturalistic environments. At Big Cat Falls, visitors can get an up-close look at some of the world’s most majestic felines, including lions, leopards, jaguars, pumas, and tigers.
