Throughout the pre-season game and continuing throughout the regular season, Unibet, an official casino and sportsbook partner of the Philadelphia Eagles, will help Eagles fans get home safely after each Eagles home game by sponsoring free rides home from NRG Station on the Broad Street Line. NRG Station provides service to venues at the Sports Complex in South Philadelphia, including Lincoln Financial Field.
Free rides after home Eagles’ games from NRG Station will be available starting on Thursday, August 24, for the pre-season match-up against the Indianapolis Colts. The free rides begin at half-time and run for two hours post-game or until the last scheduled train departs. Kickoff against the Colts at the Linc is at 8 pm. Regular fares apply for all Broad Street Line travel to the game.
“After a successful start to our partnership with SEPTA during the Eagles playoff run last year, Unibet is excited to extend our relationship into the upcoming football season. As a proud casino and sportsbook partner of the Philadelphia Eagles, Unibet strives to enhance the fan experience while also reminding our customers to play responsibly. Being able to provide Eagles fans with safe and free transportation home from the game is a fantastic opportunity for Unibet to demonstrate that commitment as well as our appreciation for Philadelphia residents and Eagles fans,” said Manuel Stan, SVP of North America, Kindred Group.
“SEPTA is thrilled to partner with Unibet again to provide free rides home from Eagles’ games,” said SEPTA CEO and General Manager Leslie S. Richards. “Going to the Superbowl last year was so exciting, and we know Eagles fans are even more enthusiastic about this season. This is such an exciting time for our city and region, and SEPTA will be ready for each game with extra service for fans. We will also have additional personnel on the system to assist riders and to help ensure that their travel is safe, secure, and convenient.”
Game-Day Connections
Eagles fans can connect with the Broad Street Line from dozens of bus routes, and there is a free transfer from the Market-Frankford Line and City Trolley routes at 15th Street/City Hall. The Broad Street Line is just a short walk from Regional Rail Stations in Center City and is also easily accessible from the PATCO High Speed Line for fans from South Jersey.
To speed up their trips to the game, SEPTA customers are encouraged to load funds on a SEPTA Key Card before their travel. Quick Trip single fare tickets can also be purchased at station kiosks.
In addition, riders can now use the new SEPTA Key Tix option to purchase mobile tickets for travel on buses, trolleys, the Broad Street Line, Market Frankford Line, and Norristown High Speed Line. SEPTA Key Tix is a mobile ticketing program that allows riders to pay fares for up to five people traveling together by scanning a single barcode on a smartphone. Please note: SEPTA Key Tix is not yet available for Regional Rail.
