Shuttle Busing Scheduled Along SEPTA’s Media/Elwyn Regional Rail Line

Due to an improvement project on the Ridley Creek Viaduct along SEPTA’s Media/Elwyn Regional Rail Line, shuttle buses will replace weekend train service between Elwyn and Media Stations on: October 2-4, 9-11, 16-18, 23-25, 30-November 1, 2015 and November 6-8, 13-15 and 20-22, 2015.

Inbound

Passengers traveling inbound to Center City from Elwyn Station will begin boarding shuttle buses at 7:00 pm. On Friday, October 1, 2015. Trains 1390, 392, 394, 396 and 398 will operate via shuttle bus from Elwyn Station to Media Station. Buses will depart from Elwyn Station earlier than regularly scheduled train times.

Passengers traveling inbound to Center City on Saturdays and Sundays will board shuttle buses at Elwyn Station earlier than scheduled train times. After departing from Elwyn Station, the buses will travel to Media Station where passengers will transfer to trains to complete their inbound trips.

Outbound

Beginning at 7:00 pm, outbound trains traveling towards Elwyn Station will travel as far as Media Station. Passengers traveling to Elwyn will need to board shuttle buses at Media Station to complete their outbound trips. Trains 373, 387, 389, 393 and 396 will operate via shuttle bus from Media Station to Elwyn Station. Shuttle buses will depart from Media Station later than regularly scheduled train times.

Outbound trains on Saturdays and Sundays will travel as far as Media Station. Passengers traveling outbound to Elwyn Station will need to transfer from trains to shuttle buses at Media Station to complete their trips. Buses will depart from Media Station later than regularly scheduled.
