SEPTA is helping baseball fans slide into Citizens Bank Park this Friday for the Phillies home opener against the Oakland A’s with extra service on the Broad Street Line.
SEPTA will have extra trains on deck to supplement regular service to NRG Station with three express trains leaving Fern Rock Transportation Center at 1:48 p.m.; 2 p.m.; and 2:15 pm. For the 3:05 pm. Start.
The Broad Street Line provides convenient connections to other services offering connections with a free transfer from the Market-Frankford Line and City Trolley routes at 15th Street/City Hall. It’s just a short walk from Regional Rail stations in Center City. It also connects to bus routes that provide service throughout the city and region, and it’s easily accessible from the PATCO High Speed Line for riders from South Jersey.
To speed their trips SEPTA riders are encouraged to load funds on a SEPTA Key Card before game day. For those without a Key Card, Quick Trip tickets can be purchased at all station kiosks. For more information about the SEPTA Key, visit www.septa.org/key.
