SEPTA to Offer Additional Regional Rail Service for Philadelphia Flower Show

Convenient Options for Travel to the Pennsylvania Convention Center

PHILADELPHIA (February 26, 2025) – SEPTA is reminding Philadelphia Flower Show attendees that public transportation offers convenient travel to the Pennsylvania Convention Center without the hassles of traffic and parking. There will be extra service on Regional Rail, along with frequent transit options.

Traveling to the Philadelphia Flower Show

All Regional Rail trains stop at Jefferson Station, which is located on the lower level of the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Starting Saturday, March 1, SEPTA will provide additional Regional Rail trips.

On Saturdays and Sundays, from March 1 to March 2 and March 8 to March 9, extra trains will operate on the Lansdale/Doylestown, Paoli/Thorndale and Fox Chase Lines.

There are also convenient transit options. The Market-Frankford Line [L], Broad Street Line [B] and the Subway-Surface Trolleys [T] offer frequent service, stopping at 13th Street, one block from the Pennsylvania Convention Center. In addition, bus routes 4, 16, 17, 23, 27, 33, 38, 44, 45, 48, 61, 78, 124 and 125 stop at or near the Convention Center.

Convenient Ways to Pay

Attendees are encouraged to load funds onto a SEPTA Key Card for ease of travel. For buses, subways and trolleys, customers can use contactless payment options like credit and debit cards and Apple, Google and Samsung Pay.

On Regional Rail, passengers can buy fares on the train when traveling towards the city using cash or a credit or debit card. However, for trips leaving the city, passengers must purchase fares in advance to be able to access the waiting and boarding areas.

The following Day Passes can be added to your Key Card for travel to, from and around the show:

  • Convenience Pass (buses, subways, and trolleys): $6, good for 8 trips
  • Neighborhood Flex Pass (buses, subways and trolleys, and Regional Rail up to Zone 2 Stations): $10, good for 10 trips
  • Anywhere FleX Pass (All SEPTA modes): $13, good for 10 trips

SEPTA’s Multi-Rider feature is available for travel in all modes and allows up to five passengers traveling together to pay with a single SEPTA Key Card. To do this, the multiple-passenger option must be activated under the My Account section of SEPTAKey.org or by calling (855) 567-3782.

Opciones convenientes para viajar al Centro de Convenciones de Pensilvania

FILADELFIA (26 de febrero de 2025) – SEPTA recuerda a los asistentes a la Exposición de Flores de Filadelfia que el transporte público es una opción muy conveniente para llegar al Centro de Convenciones de Pensilvania sin las molestias del tráfico y el estacionamiento. Se ofrecerá servicio adicional en Tren Regional, además de las opciones de transporte frecuentes existentes.

Cómo llegar a la Exposición de Flores de Filadelfia

Todos las líneas de Tren Regional paran en la Estación Jefferson, ubicada en el nivel inferior del Centro de Convenciones de Pensilvania. A partir del sábado 1 de marzo, SEPTA ofrecerá servicio de Tren Regional adicional. Los sábados y domingos 1, 2, 8 y 9 de marzo, habrá servicio adicional en las líneas Lansdale/Doylestown, Paoli/Thorndale y Fox Chase.

Otros modos de transporte de SEPTA también ofrecen formas convenientes para llegar a la exposición. Las líneas L [Azul] y B [Naranja] de metro y las líneas T [Verde] de tranvías ofrecen un servicio frecuente, con parada en la calle 13th, a un bloque del Centro de Convenciones de Pensilvania. Cómo pagar de forma conveniente

Se anima a los asistentes a la exposición a cargar fondos en una Tarjeta SEPTA Key para facilitar sus viajes.

Los pasajeros que utilicen autobuses, metros y tranvías pueden utilizar pagos sin contacto, usando tarjetas de crédito y débito, y Apple, Google y Samsung Pay.

En el Tren Regional, para los viajes en dirección a la ciudad, los billetes de tren se pueden comprar a bordo del tren usando efectivo o una tarjeta de crédito o débito. Para los viajes que parten de la ciudad hacia las afueras, se requiere que los pasajeros compren sus billetes con antelación para poder pasar por los torniquetes y acceder al área de espera y abordaje de los trenes.

Además de pagar por los viajes con la Tarjeta SEPTA Key o con la compra individual de pases de ida y vuelta, SEPTA ofrece los siguientes pases:

  • Pase Convenience (buses, metros y tranvías): $6, válido por 8 viajes.
  • Pase Neighborhood Flex (buses, metros, tranvías y trenes regionales hasta la Zona 2): $10, válido por 10 viajes.
  • Pase Anywhere FleX (válido en todos los servicios y zonas): $13, válido por 10 viajes.

La nueva función Multi-Rider de SEPTA está disponible para viajar en todos los modos y permite que hasta cinco pasajeros que viajen juntos paguen con una única Tarjeta SEPTA Key. Para ello se debe activar la opción de varios pasajeros llamando al (855) 567-3782.
