SEPTA to End Sales at Select Regional Rail Sales Offices Effective Sept. 20

PHILADELPHIA (September 11, 2024) – SEPTA would like to inform customers that the Authority will end sales at select Regional Rail Sales Offices effective Friday, September 20.

Most stations will remain open during normal operating hours for registered SEPTA Key cardholders, as well as Senior, Reduced Fare, and CCT cardholders, to access seating, restrooms, and other amenities.

A wide variety of purchase options available for customers, including SEPTA Key cards and on-board payments, has significantly reduced the number of in-person sales at these locations. The complete list of Sales Offices ending sales on September 20 is below:

  • Elkins Park
  • Fort Washington
  • Hatboro
  • Langhorne
  • Lansdowne
  • Manayunk
  • Queen Lane
  • Secane
  • Swarthmore
  • Wyndmoor

While customers can pay their fare on board trains using cash or credit, SEPTA encourages customers to purchase a SEPTA Key card. Registering a Key card protects the fares in the event it is lost or stolen. Customers who register their Key card within 30 days are refunded the $4.95 purchase price in the Travel Wallet.

SEPTA dejará de vender tiques y pases en algunas oficinas de ventas de Tren Regional a partir del 20 de septiembre

FILADELFIA (11 de septiembre de 2024) – SEPTA desea informar a los pasajeros que ya no se venderán tiques ni pases en determinadas oficinas de ventas de Tren Regional a partir del viernes 20 de septiembre.

La mayoría de las estaciones permanecerán abiertas durante el horario normal de funcionamiento para los titulares de una Tarjeta SEPTA Key registrada, así como para los titulares de tarjetas de persona mayor (Senior), Tarifa Reducida (Reduced Fare) y CCT, para acceder a asientos, baños y otras comodidades.

La amplia variedad de opciones de compra disponibles para los pasajeros y los pagos a bordo, han reducido significativamente la cantidad de ventas en persona en estos lugares. La lista completa de oficinas de ventas que dejarán de vender tiques y pases el 20 de septiembre es la siguiente:

Una Tarjeta SEPTA Key registrada protege el tique o pase en caso de pérdida o robo. Además, a los pasajeros que registren su Tarjeta SEPTA Key dentro de los 30 días después de su compra se les reembolsará el precio de compra de $4.95 en la función Cartera de Viaje.
