SEPTA has announced additional service for fans heading to the Philadelphia Union home opener at PPL Park on Saturday, March 26 and to the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament games at Temple University’s Liacouras Center on Sunday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 29.
SEPTA is adding stops on its Wilmington/Newark Line to take fans to and from the Vancouver Whitecaps versus Philadelphia Union soccer match on Saturday, March 26 at PPL Park. Train #219 and train #227 will be extended to Claymont and Wilmington Stations. Train #220 and train #228 will originate from Wilmington and make a scheduled stop at Claymont before departing Marcus Hook at its published schedule time to Chester and Center City Philadelphia. Union fans should take the train to the Chester Transportation Center, where Union shuttle buses will transport passengers to PPL Park.

SEPTA will also add trains on the Broad Street Line for passengers heading to the Liacouras Center for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. On Sunday, March 27, three additional local trains will be placed in service, operating continuously until the start of the 2:30 pm. Game. Trains will leave Fern Rock Station at 10:58 am, 11:08 am and 11:18 am On Tuesday, March 29, two local trains will be placed into service, operating continuously until the start of the 7 pm. Game.
