The City of Philadelphia announced a plan on August 28, 2025 to restore school transportation service using a portion of the existing $135 million transit subsidy in the City’s FY26 Budget.
SEPTA will begin on Tuesday, September 2 to restore priority routes that were either eliminated or reduced to help students get to school on time and alleviate crowding for all riders.
This includes Routes 14, 20, 23, 26, 47, 63, 67, 70, 82, T2 and T5.
Real-time schedules on the website, app, and third-party apps will not be available right away due to the last-minute implementation of these added school trippers.
