Philly Bike Ride 2024 will take place this weekend on Saturday, October 19. The event is an opportunity to enjoy a bike ride with hundreds of others in support of the Bicycle Coalition of Philadelphia, a nonprofit dedicated to making our streets safe and accessible.
If you’re participating in the Ride, SEPTA is a great way to ensure you arrive at the starting line on time. Nearby stations include Fairmount, Spring Garden and Race-Vine, all located on the Broad Street Line [B].
To facilitate the Bike Ride, 20 miles of the road beginning on Christian Street and extending toward Manayunk will be blocked off to traffic, which will impact SEPTA’s bus service until 3 pm. The full list of affected routes is below; for full details on the detours, please visit SEPTA’s Alerts and Detours page. The Philly Bike Ride website also provides a list of all street closures.
