SEPTA’s new transit schedules for winter/spring 2014 go into effect starting Sunday, Jan. 19. Most of these changes include minor timetable adjustments on bus and trolley routes designed to improve customer service, and also account for seasonal changes in ridership.
Timetables for some routes will go unchanged, with service remaining on existing schedules. As part of SEPTA’s effort to “Go Green” and control costs, new schedules have only been printed for routes on which there will be timetable adjustments. For routes that are unchanged, customers can continue to refer to their current schedules.
All new and existing schedules are available at SEPTA customer locations. In addition, all new schedules are available for viewing and printing on a special section of the SEPTA website. Please visit https://www.septa.org/schedules/upcoming.html for full details.
In addition to minor timetable adjustments, SEPTA would like to alert customers to the following changes:
- Route 9: The stop at 23rd and Chestnut Streets will change to 22nd and Chestnut.
- Route L: Sunday service will no longer be available at Rodney Street and Mount Airy Avenue.
- Route 92: Weekday service after 7 pm and service throughout the day Saturday will now be available, in both directions, at Swedesford and Valley Forge Roads.
- Route 95: The North Hills and Mount Carmel Avenues stop will change to North Hills and Chestnut Avenues.
