New timetables will be effective Wednesday, September 5, 2012.
1st Phase: (September 5th through October 7th): From the first train until 8:00 pm, Mondays through Fridays, train times to and from the Airport will be adjusted. After 8 pm, train service to and from the Airport will be reduced from regular half hour service to hourly service. Trains will operate hourly for the entire service day on Saturdays and Sundays.
Note: The September 5th timetable does not depict train times from Eastwick Station. A revised schedule is available on SEPTA’s website and Eastwick schedule posters.
2nd Phase: (October 8th through mid-November 2012): Regular half-hour train service will continue from the first morning train until 8:00 pm After 8 pm, train service to and from the Airport will be reduced from regular half-hour service to hourly service. Warminster Line
Beginning September 8th, shuttle buses will operate for seven consecutive weekends between Glenside and Warminster stations due to overhead wire replacement work. For the first five weekends, shuttle buses will replace all inbound and outbound train service between Jenkintown and Warminster Stations. During the last two weekends, shuttle buses will replace inbound and outbound train service between Glenside and Warminster stations. Passengers traveling between these stations should add an additional 20 minutes onto their trips. Shuttle bus departure times are included in the September 8th Warminster Regional Rail timetable.
Wilmington/Newark
Effective September 9th, one additional morning rush-hour express trip has been added in each direction and service hours have been expanded during the evening rush. The timing of these service improvements coordinate with Delaware’s acquisition of four Silverliner V cars.
