New Schedules Effective Sunday, April 7, For Several SEPTA Regional Rail Lines

New schedules are available now for SEPTA’s Lansdale/Doylestown, Manayunk/Norristown and Wilmington/Newark regional rail lines. Highlights of the Sunday, April 7th schedule change include:

Lansdale/Doylestown-Due to overhead wire replacement work, shuttle buses will operate in place of train service between Doylestown and Colmar Stations, mid-day, Mondays through Fridays from April 8, 2013 until August 9, 2013.

Inbound

Shuttle buses will substitute for trains 525 through 551 from 9:45 am until 2:45 pm. Buses will depart from Doylestown Station approximately 12 minutes earlier than scheduled train times to connect with trains departing from Colmar Station.

Outbound

Buses will substitute for trains 7534 through 562 from 9:19 am until 3:49 pm. Buses will depart from Colmar Station approximately five minutes after trains arrive at the station.

Additionally, trains 519 and 553 will depart from Link, Colmar and Fortuna a few minutes earlier. Passengers should refer to the newly updated Lansdale/Doylestown timetable for updated trip times.

Manayunk/Norristown

Due to track and brush cutting work passengers traveling inbound to Center City will board from the outbound platform at Ivy Ridge, Manayunk, Wissahickon, East Falls and Allegheny stations, weekdays from 9:15 am until 2:45 pm. This weekday boarding location change will be in effect from Monday, April 8, 2013 until August 9, 2013.

Trip times have also been changed on all weekday and weekend trains traveling to Center City Philadelphia from Elm Street Station. Passengers should refer to the newly updated Manayunk/Norristown timetable for updated trip times.

Wilmington/Newark

Passengers should refer to the newly updated timetable for changes to train numbers. Those changes are as follows:

  • 222 changed to 9222
  • 234 changed to 9234
  • 9240 changed to 240
  • 227 changed to 9227
  • 231 changed to 9231
  • 235 changed to 9235
  • 237 changed to 9237

Changes to train numbers reflect the location that trains originate and/or terminate from.
