Due to a CSX track project between Woodbourne and West Trenton Stations on SEPTA’s West Trenton Regional Rail Line, shuttle bus service will be used for midday, weekday trips, Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 4:30 pm, October 17-20, 2011.
For trips to Center City Philadelphia, shuttle buses will depart West Trenton Station 22 minutes earlier than regularly scheduled train times. Express buses will operate directly to Woodbourne Station. Local shuttle buses will operate between Yardley and Woodbourne Stations, departing Yardley 18 minutes earlier than regularly scheduled train times. Passengers travelling to Philadelphia will transfer to trains at Woodbourne Station. Trains will depart Woodbourne on regularly scheduled train times.
Trains traveling to West Trenton will stop at Woodbourne Station. Upon arrival, passengers will board local shuttle buses to Yardley Station or express buses to West Trenton. Up to 22 minutes will be added to passengers’ trips. Train departure times at Center City stations will not change.
Shuttle bus service will also be in effect on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 7 am to 7 pm. Local shuttle buses will serve West Trenton, Yardley and Woodbourne Stations. Buses from West Trenton will depart at regularly scheduled train times. Trains from Center City will also leave at the regularly scheduled times. Yardley and West Trenton Station passengers can expect to add 33 minutes to their commute.
