National Farmers Market Week

It is National Farmers Market Week now through August 10, and this is the perfect time to highlight how public transit plays a vital role in connecting our communities to fresh and local produce. At SEPTA, we are proud to support local farmers markets and make them accessible to everyone in our region.

Farmers markets are more than just a place to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. They are a hub for community engagement, support local economies, and promote healthy eating. However, access to these markets can be challenging for those without reliable transportation. That’s where SEPTA comes in.
