The Met Philadelphia
Located on North Broad Street – The Met Philadelphia is the former Philadelphia Metropolitan Opera House. Originally built in 1908 by opera impresario Oscar Hammerstein – The Met Philadelphia underwent a $56 million restoration to transform the historic theater into the crown jewel of North Broad Street’s renaissance.
How to Get There
Best way there is the Broad Street Line. The Met Philadelphia is approximately 2 blocks south of the Girard Street Station & 3 blocks north of the Fairmount Station. You can also take the Route 4 or Route 16 to Poplar and Broad Street. Or take the Route 15 Trolley to the Girard and Broad Street stop. This stop is approximately 2 blocks north of the venue.
