South Street Headhouse District is a renowned commercial corridor and one of Philadelphia’s most eclectic and lively neighborhoods. Located east of Broad Street down to the Delaware River – it is home to more than 400 unique businesses – including some of the best restaurants, retailers, and services in the region. South Street Headhouse District is also one of the top tourist destinations in Philadelphia, with over one million visitors each year.

On the west side of Broad Street – South Street maintains its rep of being the hippest street in town with more unique shops, fabulous restaurants, charming cafes, and more.

How to Get There

Bus Routes 2, 4, 7, 12, 17, 27, 32, 40, 45, 47 or 57 run down, parallel or across South Street. The Broad Street Line stops at Lombard-South.
