Franklin Field

In operation since before the turn of the 20th century, Franklin Field is the University of Pennsylvania’s historic football stadium. It is also home of the Penn Relays every April, the oldest organized relay competition in the United States. The Relays bring together the best track and field athletes from high schools and colleges worldwide.

How to Get There

Take SEPTA Regional Rail to William H. Gray III 30th Street Station or Penn Medicine Station.

Take the Market-Frankford Line to Drexel Station at 30th Street or 34th Street Station.

Take any Trolley line to the 33rd Street Station.

Hop Routes 21, 30, 42 or 49.

Things to Do

University of Pennsylvania football home games are played at Franklin Field. The field hosts the Penn Relays every April, as well as various other Track & Field meets throughout the year.
