37th Street Station Improvements

Overview

SEPTA is redesigning 37th Street Station for accessibility and to prepare for Trolley Modernization. These improvements will allow riders with mobility challenges to access the station and will make the station compatible with modern trolley vehicles. The 37th Street Station serves four SEPTA trolley routes, providing access to University City and the University of Pennsylvania for communities throughout West Philadelphia and Center City. These station improvements are funded through a 2021 U.S. Department of Transportation Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant.
