19th Street Station Improvements

Overview

SEPTA is redesigning 19th Street Station for accessibility and to prepare for Trolley Modernization. These improvements will allow riders with mobility challenges to access the station and will make the station compatible with modern trolley vehicles. The 19th Street Station serves five SEPTA trolley routes, providing access to and from Center City Philadelphia for communities throughout West Philadelphia and University City. These station improvements are funded through a 2021 U.S. Department of Transportation Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant.
