PennDOT began restoration on the Markley Street/Elm Street stone arch bridge over Stony Creek on April 15. During construction, Markley Street is closed between Marshall Street and Spruce Street/Harding Boulevard. Elm Street is closed between Astor Street and Swede Street. During the closure, vehicles, pedestrians and trucks are directed to follow the posted detour routes.
Detour Information
Motorists traveling northbound on Markley Street and eastbound on Elm Street continue to have access to the parking lot.
Motorists traveling southbound on Markley Street and westbound on Elm Street are directed to use the posted detour to gain access to the parking lot.
The parking lot is accessible from either the northwest side of the station from Elm and Astor streets or via the southside of the station on Markley Street.
Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time as backups and delays will occur. Construction is expected through April 2025.
