Crews are performing a complete renovation of the loop at 33rd and Dickinson streets, including all the concrete and building a new bathroom. In cooperation with the Philadelphia Streets Department, a temporary “No Parking” zone begins April 20, 2024.
Project Location and Hours
The work takes place at the 33rd & Dickinson Street Loop from April 20 through June 2025.
Normal construction hours are 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday. However, there may be weekdays where crews work past 2:30 pm. Occasional Saturday work may also be needed to maintain the project’s timeline.
Impact on Riders
The Route 29 bus operates as normal; the boarding location in this area is relocated, check for posted signs.
Impact on Area Parking
A temporary “No Parking” zone of 190-feet on Vare Avenue (near Dickinson Street) is in effect through December 31, 2024.
